Last Month, we designed and supplied Arch Fender Systems for Valencia Port in Spain. These 184 sets Arch Fenders with fixing anchors have been arrived at the destination now and will be installed beautifully well in the end of 2021.

Valencia port is a Spanish commercial port, one of the three major container ports in the Mediterranean, the second largest port in general cargo throughput in Spain, and the port with the longest working hours in Spain. Located in the Gulf of Valencia in the Mediterranean Sea in eastern Spain, it is close to Barcelona port, Massey port, Algiers port, Cede port and Gibraltar, and has regular shipping flights. It can be divided into inner port and outer port. The inner port is located in the northwest of the port and is polygonal. The wharf line is more than 1790 meters long, the water depth along the side is 7.0-7.9 meters, and the Northeast bank is 10.9 meters. It is used for passenger transport and groceries, with a water area of 28.35 hectares. The water area of the outer port is 159.8 hectares, the length of the wharf line is 4500 meters, including 850 meters of the container terminal, 420 meters of the multi-purpose line, 9-11 meters of the front water depth, 7.9 meters of the shallowest and 14 meters of the deepest. The total length of the wharf line in Hong Kong is 6280 meters, with about 40 berths.

Arch Fenders are being widely used in port facility due to their high energy absorption, low reaction force and stable performance as well as high durability with simple structure. They are particularly useful for vessels with high allowable hull pressures and limited mounting space..

The Arch fender has the Features as below:

  • Rugged single piece moulding for long service life
